Sydney FC ace Alesssandro Del Piero insists his lower back problem is not a major issue.
The 39-year old Italian striker succumbed to the injury at half-time of last weekend's 2-1 win over Melbourne Heart in which he scored a stunning goal late in the first 45 minutes.
Ahead of Sunday's trip to take on the Wellington Phoenix, Del Piero allayed fears that his injury will keep him sidelined over the busy Christmas period.
"It's nothing serious, I will train tomorrow and Friday and the we'll see what is the best thing for Sunday, but there's no damage, only small things," he said.
In regards to how many minutes he will play in the next three matches, which will take place within two weeks, Del Piero added: "270, I really don't know. First of all I and we don't want to think too much far away from the next game."
