Juventus GM Marotta reacts to Raiola claims for Pogba

Juventus GM Beppe Marotta remains confident of Paul Pogba staying next season.

Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, told the French press last night that the midfielder could still stay.

Marotta responded: "Mino Raiola told the Le Parisien that Pogba could remain in Turin. Why? Because he has not found buyers for 100 million? No, only that his sports rights are with Juventus, so it is always Juventus who must decide.

"Although the role of the player is definitely critical. But beyond this, we speak of a boy of 93, is 21 years old, is very young, I think he can grow from game to game.

"This is the natural habitat for him, for his growth, for his development. We have recently extended the contract and we did with the perspective of wanting to build with him and around him a competitive team."
