Juventus GM Beppe Marotta has defended the manner of their swoop for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
Marotta says discussions are in the advanced stages, with Juve waiting on an answer from the 19-year-old.
"We have lured him away from Manchester United," he told Corriere dello Sport.
"We respected the rules. Pogba, for his own reasons, didn't intend to renew. We informed the club and we are now waiting for an answer. Talks are well advanced."
