Juventus GM Beppe Marotta has admitted interest in AS Roma striker Marco Borriello.
There were reports today, fuelled by Genoa President Enrico Preziosi, that the Bianconeri had a deal in place for the Italian international.
"I will not confirm nor deny that we are interested in Borriello," Marotta told Sky Sport Italia.
"He is certainly a good player and we are ready to take all the opportunities that the market offers us. We will calmly talk things over with the Coach and see what happens.
"At this moment I can absolutely rule out Borriello's arrival, because we have never had formal talks with Roma, but obviously enquiries can be made."
