Juventus GM Beppe Marotta has defended Antonio Conte over his row with Napoli coach Rafa Benitez going into yesterday's game.
Conte said Benitez would have 'failed' if he didn't win the Scudetto this season.
"These statements were part of the media game, but were very well-intentioned," Marotta told Sky Sport Italia.
"Juventus have the duty to target the best in every competition they enter. Of course there are opponents to deal with, but these are our targets."
