Juventus GM Beppe Marotta has opened talks with Manchester City over a fee for Carlos Tevez.
Sportmediaset says with AC Milan preoccupied with the sale of Robinho, Juve have stepped in to discuss terms with City for Tevez.
A contract worth €5.5 million-a-year has been put aside for the Argentine, while the Bianconeri hope to do business over a fee for around €10 million.
Milan are also chasing Tevez, but need to sell Robinho to fund their bid.
Marotta phoned City chief Ferran Soriano over the weekend to formalise their interest in opening talks for Tevez.
