Juventus GM Beppe Marotta admits Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has asked about Paul Pogba.

Yesterday, Marotta was inducted into the Italian Football Federation's Hall of Fame alongside Madrid boss Ancelotti.

"What did we discuss together? With Carletto we talked football, Real Madrid, and many other things.

"I won't deny that we talked about Pogba, and also about [Alvaro] Morata, another young player that he trained for a long time last season.

"I did nothing other than to confirm the quality, the abilities and the value of this player. If Ancelotti said that Real Madrid isn't interested in him, then evidently he has his reasons.

"There are many lies told around the mercato, but they are white lies."
