Juventus GM Jean-Claude Blanc insists coach Claudio Ranieri's job is safe. "We will not change our Coach, as we have total faith in Ranieri, just as President (Giovanni) Cobolli Gigli said on Sunday," Blanc told Sky Italia.

"I confirm that 100 per cent. Ranieri was chosen to lead a long-term project and that will continue. We'll sit down with him, his staff and the medics to analyse the situation and try to find extra small tweaks that must get Juventus back to the side we saw at the end of August.

"Ranieri has a contract for another year and we are making long-term considerations."
