Juventus fullback Patrice Evra says adjusting to Italian football has been difficult.

Evra arrived last summer from Manchester United.

"Many people get it wrong on the level of Italian football. There is a different philosophy to other countries.

"You have to be well-prepared psychologically. I never sought excuses or alibis. It was a bit of a shock for me, but with a little intelligence I adapted to the situation.

"It's not easy to play in Italy."
