Juventus are battling to keep hold of defender Giorgio Chiellini.
La Stampa says Manchester City have registered their interest with Chiellini's minders, who are also in talks over a new deal at Juve.
Juve are willing to hand Chiellini a new €2 million-a-year contract to keep him in Turin until 2013.
But City boss Roberto Mancini remains keen and has the spending power to blow Juve out of the water.
