Juventus defender Daniele Rugani was happy scoring in their win against Cagliari.

Rugani is enjoying a revival this season and struck in yesterday's 2-1 triumph.

He said, "We're happy to have scored from set pieces because we hadn't managed to do so in the last few games. I'm happy to have helped the team win the three points which send us into the break calm.

"For young people I can be a point of reference. This is an important role that I want to carry forward, considering that we have many young people."

On an Italy recall, Rugani added: "I hope so, every player dreams of that goal. Everything depends on my performances with Juve. We need to recharge our batteries to prepare as best we can for the match against Inter."
