Juventus defender Barzagli lets slip Italy tactics for England clash

Italy defender Andrea Barzagli has let slip their tactics for tonight's Euro2012 quarterfinal against England.

Azzurri coach Cesare Prandelli had refused to answer questions on whether they would play with a 3-5-2 or a 4-3-1-2 system in the Press conference, but Barzagli was not so discreet.

"You stop Wayne Rooney with the team, as we defend with four defenders and the whole team. It's normal we know Rooney and have to be concentrated 100 per cent."

Prandelli told him off and the Juventus man held up his hands to admit he had spilled the beans.

"It's a quarter-final against England, so if we don't prove tomorrow that we're a team who can step up in quality, we never will.

"It depends on us and the whole squad is concentrated, eager to prove Italy are here. We've shown that in the last three matches, but will need to do so again."
