Juventus are planning a bid for Liverpool attacker Dirk Kuyt.

The News of the World says his close relationship with Rafa Benitez has put them off launching a bid for the forward Liverpool paid Feyenoord £10milion for in 2006.

Juve now believe the mayhem at Anfield could open the door for them to make a move for Kuyt though.

They expect Benitez to quit in summer, possibly even moving to Turin, and feel his departure would make it easier to persuade Kuyt to quit.
