Juventus are closing in on a deal for Udinese defender Cristian Zapata.

Despite rival interest from AC Milan and Inter, Juve are confident they can close a deal for the Colombia international thanks to a close relationship struck with Udinese following the summer deal for Vincenzo Iaquinta.

Zapata has been told by Udinese he won't be blocked from leaving at the end of this season.
