Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri insists he values the contribution of Federico Bernardeschi.
The midfielder impressed in victory over Bologna last night.
Sarri said, "Yes, but I have my idea on Federico, he is the boy who has the defect of not having a great continuity of performance. People, I don't know why, always expect a lot from him, he is a hypercritical player, much more criticised for what he deserves, then when he has good times he is not noticed.
"In my opinion the Italian criticism is too strong towards Bernardeschi. But Bernardeschi is a strong player, who if he finds a long period of confidence he solves the small problem of continuity he can finally explode for his potential which is of a high level, from a technical point of view, but also from a physical point of view, because he is a boy who has acceleration and endurance, therefore he also has good qualities physically."
