Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri believes Tiago silenced some of his critics after their victory over Bologna.
He said: "Tiago has had a very good game, I have to thank him publicly.
"If we bought him, it was because we had decided he was a quality player. Maybe giving him less responsibility he can express himself better.
"Over the game in which he played, he showed his class and confirmed that he was a good buy."
