Claudio Ranieri has spoken highly of Sebastian Giovinco's efforts in Sunday's 2-1 win over Lecce. Giovinco opened the scoring with a wonderfully taken freekick and was impressive in his attacking role in the absence of captain Alessandro Del Piero.
Ranieri was clearly pleased: "Giovinco played a great game, was decisive in every part of the field and in every move.
"The club has been focusing on its youth team for two years now. He and the other youngsters are very strong, but clearly they cannot all get the playing time they want right away."
