Juventus coach Ranieri eyeing second-place

After a stunning 4-0 win at Atalanta, Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri admitted a race with Roma for second-place could be on.

Alessandro del Piero struck a superb hat-trick in the victory and Ranieri said: "Our objective is to be Juventus, so that means having that something extra and breathing the same air as the champions.

"Juventus want to be number one and we always aim to improve. We wanted to get a good start to this game and, considering two great wins on the trot against Milan and Parma, hoped to end the week on a high.

"The lads did brilliantly to give me everything they had and always fight for the result. They inspire me."
