Juventus coach Allegri defends tactics after Genoa draw

Juventus coach Max Allegri defended his tactics after their 0-0 draw with Genoa.

It was another stumble for Juve, but Allegri rejected claims of employing a defensive system.

He said: "Playing these matches for Juventus is very difficult and complicated; this is a group of responsible boys, aware of the importance of the match and in the first half we had some difficulty. But the games last 90 minutes, we had the opportunity to win it in the second half.

"Performance in football depends on results, we have a goal to achieve and we can only achieve it by continuing to work and do our duty. Why can't this team play with three attackers together? Because I train it every day, then there are the changes, the solutions.

"That's how I see it, I'm definitely wrong and maybe against Lazio we'll play with the trident plus one under the striker."
