Juventus chief Cristiano Giuntoli is scheduled to meet with the agent of Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the coming days.

Giuntoli has identified the Dane as a replacement for perennial injury victim Paul Pogba.

Il Corriere dello Sport says talks are set to kickoff this week with the aim of bringing Hojbjerg to Turin in the January market.

Spurs are willing to do business at a starting price of €30m.

Giuntoli views the valuation as steep and will push Spurs to drop their price, as soon as Hojbjerg settles on personal terms.
