Torino coach Iva Juric defended his players after defeat to Lazio last night.

Toro were beaten 2-0 after a strong first-half.

Juric later said: "I'm sorry for the result but proud of the boys, the best Torino of my management but we were unlucky. We should have scored more than one goal especially in the first half, then on the first shot we conceded a goal. Football is like that sometimes, it's devastating but the boys must believe in themselves and we will face Roma with this spirit.

"We have to play at this level and we will score a lot of points, we have to believe in it but sometimes you can't win after fantastic games like today.

"Happy, I'm just sad about the result. I'm very satisfied and we have to continue like this. We have to have a little more luck."

"After being here for years, Torino must aspire to something more, we must be ambitious and work well and more. We are Torino, it must be a stimulus for our players and we must never relax. We are on the right path, we must all demand more.

"My dream is Europe, then I want to see them play like that and I had fun tonight."
