Juninho on target again as LA Galaxy held by New England

LA Galaxy and New England Revolution played out a 1-1 draw at The Home Depot Center on Sunday.

The Galaxy kicked off their 2011 MLS campaign with a 1-0 win over Seattle Sounders during the week thanks to a screamer from Brazilian midfielder Juninho who was at it again on the weekend.

The Revs scored first through Shalrie Joseph who headed home from close range in the third minute to get the visitors off to a great start.

The pouring rain was making life difficult for both sides but the Galaxy managed to restore parity six minutes before the break when Juninho hammered a shot from 20 yards past Zack Schilawski.

Neither side could break the deadlock in trying conditions as the Galaxy continued their unbeaten start to the season whilst the Revs grabbed a vital point on the road.

LA next meet Real Salt Lake in Utah next weekend as the Revs prepare for their home opener against DC United on Saturday.
