Stevan Jovetic has urged Manchester City to recover swiftly from the weekend's defeat to Arsenal.
The reigning Premier League champions were beaten 2-0 at home by the Gunners to fall five points behind leaders Chelsea.
The City squad has travelled to Abu Dhabi for a few days to get away from the UK and will take on German club Hamburg in a friendly on Wednesday ahead of their FA Cup fourth round clash with Middlesbrough on Saturday.
Then comes the top-of-the-table meeting with Chelsea on January 31 which striker Jovetic knows is extremely vital in the context of the season.
"We were behind eight points (Chelsea) and now it is five," Jovetic told Sky Sports News HQ.
"Of course it is going to be tough because they are a good team, but now we play against them we have to beat them. It's not going to be easy, but I believe that we can do it.
"The biggest characteristic after a bad game like Arsenal is to recover well and to play good the next game and win."
