Joselu is delighted to be back with Real Madrid.

The former Castilla striker has joined Real on-loan from Espanyol.

He said from Real's US preseason base: "I'm really happy to be back. A lot of things I've experienced here are coming back to me. Some things are new, like the team-mates, and I'm adapting very quickly. I'm very pleased and happy to be here again.

"We know the quality the players have and the level at every training session. The intensity is at its highest and we all want to win in the matches and in the possessions games. It's great to share the pitch with these top players.

"You have to enjoy life. I'm at a point in my career where I'm enjoying every minute and every second of what I'm going through. I'm experiencing something new 12 years on.

"I've matured a lot both personally and professionally. I've got a family with children and life looks at you in a different way. I was a kid when I left here and I fulfilled my dream of making my debut for Real Madrid. I'm a different player now, more experienced and with more knowledge that has enabled me to come back."

On coach Carlo Ancelotti, he added: "He's told me to be myself. What I've done over the last few years is what brought me here. He's asked me to get into the box as I'm a target forward. I'm adapting to training, to the way the team plays and to my new teammates."
