Jose Luis Gaya has signed a new deal with Valencia.

Valencia have confirmed that left-back Gaya has agreed to extend his contract for five seasons, tying him to the Spanish club until 2020.

The 19-year-old has enjoyed a breakthrough season this term, helping Valencia rise into fourth place in La Liga with three games left to play.

Spanish media had speculated that Real Madrid were interested in luring Gaya to the capital, while Premier League giants Manchester City and Chelsea were also keen.
