Jordon Ibe is ready to sign a new deal with Liverpool.

The Sun says Ibe is on the verge of signing a five-year contract at Anfield.

The 19-year-old's £35,000-a-week deal will be announced by Liverpool later today.

The news comes as a welcome relief to Reds fans who are likely to see one of the club's other young talents, Raheem Sterling, leave in the summer.

Ibe has made 11 Premier League appearances this season.
