Jordi Alba admits leaving Barcelona with no club lined up

Jordi Alba admits he leaves Barcelona with nothing lined up.

The left-back agreed to depart Barca with a year to run on his contract in order to help with the club's financial concerns.

Alba told Mundo Deportivo, "What was clear to me was that my time at Barça was over.

"It was not an easy decision, but I think it was the best for both the club and me. Now I have a championship with the national team, I will try to win it and from there I will look at options. It is clear that I want to continue playing, but honestly, I have nothing. It is time to reflect, to know what is best for me and my family.

"I am in a moment that I want to see everything I have and value it, sincerely. I mean, I still see myself competing at a high level, but hey, I have to value everything also by talking to my family. It will not be my decision alone, I also want to discuss it with my wife. We must value the best for our children. I am open to everything."
