Jonas Salley is thoroughly enjoying his time in China with Shaanxi Zhongxin. The club recorded a huge 4-1 victory over Guangzhou Yiyao on Sunday in the Chinese Super League to move to 11th on the table with their third victory of the season.
Salley said despite the great feeling after the match, the players were intent on winning more matches.
"It was a wonderful feeling, not only defeating a team which is above us, but because we hadn't won in a while," Salley told tribalfootball.com.
"Of course the coach (Cheng Yaodong) is happy. A win always brings joy so at the moment things are great and we as the players expect more wins in the coming games."
Not one to talk about his own performances, Salley said he was just enjoying the chance to play freely with Shaanxi.
"I never speak about myself because as they say, 'actions speak louder than words'," he added.
"But I would say that I am really in form, no doubt, and I'm having so much joy playing and expressing myself freely on the park."
