Slavisa Jokanovic is already looking ahead to next season with Watford despite the fact he is yet to sign a new deal.
The Serbian guided the Hornets back to the Premier League with a second-place finish in the Championship after taking the reins at Vicarage Road in October on an initial short-term deal.
With contract talks regarding an extension set for the coming days, former Chelsea midfielder Jokanovic admits he is planning for what is ahead for the Hertfordshire club who return to the top flight for the first time since 2006.
"Today is a day for celebrating and to be happy," he said. "In the next days we will start thinking about the future of this club.
"My obligation and the club's obligation is to be ready (for the Premier League), to be competitive and to build a team to win games."
Jokanovic, who has recently been linked with Sunderland, added: "It's a nice day for us and for the fans.
"We should be proud and happy. We were fighting as a team for days like this."
