Liverpool are set to welcome back Glen Johnson to full-scale training today.
The Daily Mail says the England right-back has been sidelined since he damaged his ankle during the 1-0 win over Manchester United on September 1 and had spent much of the last month with his foot in a protective cast.
However, his rehabilitation has gone smoothly and he will be free to join up with the rest of the Liverpool squad who have remained at Melwood.
Should all go according to plan in the next few days, there is even a possibility he could be ready for Saturday's trip to Newcastle.
