Andy Johnson is convinced Fulham boss Roy Hodgson can help him fulfil his potential.
"It would be fantastic to have a cup run, it really would," the England striker told the Sunday Mirror.
"The boss has done a fantastic job here. I would say he is one of the best, if not the best, I have worked with in my career.
"I can't remember staying behind so often after training to work on parts of my game. I really do feel at home here. And yes, I feel we have a chance of winning something major.
"I am as hungry as I have ever been to win something and the great thing is I am surrounded by players just as hungry as me.
"Players like Clint Dempsey, Danny Murphy, Dixon Etuhu, Brede Hangeland - all good players and determined to do well. Europe really excites me. I loved it while I was with Everton and I can't wait to be involved again.
"I think that I have had not a bad career, but I still haven't won that major piece of silverware. I have still to experience that 'What a day!' feeling and hopefully I will be able to do that this season."
