In his eight years at Stamford Bridge, John Obi Mikel has seen Chelsea change like those of leaves changing colour in autumn.
His stay though could come to an end as it has been reported that the Blues are looking to offload the 27 year old Nigeria international for £6 million.
Obi Mikel joined Chelsea alongside Ashley Cole in 2006, and like his counterpart, he could be on his way out of Chelsea to Italy. Mikel, who started all of Nigeria's four World Cup matches, has recently been the subject of reports of a move to Italy with a host of Serie A clubs looking for his signature.
With the £30 million signing of Cesc Fabregas and links to Real Madrid's Sami Khedira, Mikel's midfield position looks in serious doubt. The 27 year old played a low-key role for Chelsea last season with only eleven Premier League starts.
