Aron Johannsson led AZ Alkmaar to a vital 2-1 victory over second-placed PSV Eindhoven in the Dutch Eredivisie on the weekend.
The USA striker netted his fifth league goal in the 57th minute to give his side maximum points at home, allowing them to move to eighth on the table.
Johannsson fired home a superbly-taken half-volley from outside the area to make it nine goals in all competitions so far this season.
AZ have now won four league matches to sit just two points behind leaders FC Twente with Johannsson sitting third on the Golden Boot chart behind Heerenveen's Alfred Finnbogason (10 goals) and Feyenoord's Graziano Pelle (9).
