Joan Jordan is excited about his move to Sevilla.

The midfielder has arrived from Eibar.

He told Marca: "I won't suffer, it was a basic element of play at Eibar. Thanks to that and the team, I developed a lot as a player. I learnt new concepts on the ball but above all off the ball, which has made me a much better player and I can bring that to Sevilla.

"I come from a village of 20,000 people, I never imagined playing in LaLiga Santander. I was at home watching with my parents when Sevilla played in the Champions League and won the Europa League. Then Monchi called me... I'm very excited, with the coach too, they are role models in the game.

"I will never move for money, never, never. I believe a lot in this project, it fills me with hope, Sevilla is a great club. When Monchi contacted my agents I told them that I was going to Sevilla for sure."
