Manolo Jimenez is strengthening his position at Sevilla.

Sevilla management have considered several alternatives to the coach, including Unai Emery (Almeria) and Marcelino (Racing Santander), however none have completely convinced the club's board.

Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido doesn't want to take any risks with the coaching position next season and is leaning towards sticking with what he knows and handing Jimenez a deal for the upcoming campaign.
