Paul Jewell can't see Manchester United puling the plug on David Moyes' stewardship.
Former Wigan Athletic boss Jewell thinks patience will be the key to bringing success back to United.
"It is a long term project," Jewell told the Daily Star, "I think everyone knew that last year.
"Although Man United won the league comfortably, they weren't the team they've been, not for the last few years certainly.
"I think David's come into a difficult situation, any manager needs at least three transfer windows to put his stamp on the team.
"He will definitely be given time. And, given time, I'm sure he'll get Man United challenging for trophies very, very quickly."
