Newcastle United wing-back Jetro Willems wants to stay on Tyneside next season.
The Evening Chronicle says Willems is desperate to rejoin Newcastle from parent club Eintracht Frankfurt next season.
The 25-year-old, who joined the Magpies over the summer on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy, was sidelined for six months by a cruciate ligament injury sustained in the 1-0 win over Chelsea last weekend.
The Dutch international left-back has made 20 appearances in all competitions for Steve Bruce's side this season, but has returned to his parent club for rehab.
