Jerome Sinclair to become Liverpool's youngest ever against former club West Brom

Liverpool youngster Jerome Sinclair could become the club's youngest ever first teamer tonight against Capital One Cup opponents West Bromwich Albion.

Sinclair, who only turned 16 last Thursday, will travel to the Hawthorns and Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is considering naming the youngster among the substitutes.

If he makes it onto the pitch, Sinclair will beat the current club record of 16 years and 250 days set by Jack Robinson when he made his debut against Hull City in May 2010.

Sinclair signed for Liverpool as a 14-year-old from the West Brom youth academy in the summer of 2011.
