Jeju United jump to top in Korea

Jeju United jumped to top spot on the K-League ladder with a 3-2 away win over Incheon United on the weekend.

Former South Korea international Kim Eun-Jung netted in the 25th minute to give Jeju the lead but they then fell behind when Incheon scored a goal each side of half-time.

But the top side fought back through Santos Junior in the 86th minute and Kim in the 90th minute to clinch an inspirational victory.

Elsewhere in Korea, FC Seoul stayed third on the table with a 2-0 away win at Gwangju Sangmu, Seongnam Ilhwa retained second spot with a 1-0 win over Daejeon Citizen, Krunoslav Lovrek scored twice as Jeonbuk Motors netted three late goals to haul in Gangwon tin 3-2, Chunnam Dragons gave up a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Busan I'Park, Pohang Steelers and Suwon Bluewings drew 1-1, as did Daegu and Gyeongnam who relinquished their lead at the top of the league.
