Jean-Clair Todibo has admitted some frustration over his situation at Barcelona.
The defender spent the second-half of this Bundesliga season on-loan at Schalke.
Asked how he feels about his treatment at Barca, Todibo told Onze Mundial: "For me, this season, I deserved more playing time.
"The first six months, when I arrived, I did not mind not playing because in training, I saw that I had not yet that level. But this year, I would have deserved to play more.
"But I didn't make a big deal of it because it was the choice of the coach and I understand. Today, you can tell me what you want with regard to (Gerard) Piqué. If I am a coach, I prefer to put Piqué ahead of Todibo. He has a real track record, he is a great player.
"But I think I could have played some games. For me, I had the level to play with Barça. But it's just that having the level to play with Barça and getting ahead of Pique are two different things. Especially since he is a 'gentleman' at the club. He did a lot for Barça."
