Keisuke Honda watched from the stands as his new club AC Milan brushed aside Atalanta 3-0 in the Serie A on Monday.
The Japan international, who was officially unveiled as a Rossoneri player on the weekend, looked on as Massimiliano Allegri's side moved up to 11th on the Italian table thanks to a double from Kaka and a debut goal from teenager Bryan Cristante.
Despite not being a part of the matchday squad, former CSKA Moscow star Honda was serenaded by Milan fans who sang the popular 70s hit 'Onda su onda' in acknowledgment of his arrival.
Honda is set to make his first appearance for Milan when they meet Sassuolo in Emilia-Romagna on Saturday.
