Newcastle United fullback Daryl Janmaat is convinced they're set for an exciting season after a rough start.

Newcastle have now won five in a row and he's predicting a successful campaign ahead.

"We have to forget about what went wrong before and focus on the future," he said.

"I believe we can have a great season. The shape of the team is good and everyone is enjoying it.

"The way we are playing now is why I signed for Newcastle."
