Stoke City have agreed a four-year contract with Rangers midfielder Jamie Ness.
The Sentinel says the Potters have moved to snap up the 21-year-old who became a free agent when he decided to terminate his contract with the soon-to-be liquidated Scottish club.
Ness, who is set to sign a four-year deal, will become Stoke's first summer signing.
The left-footed Scotland under-21 international missed most of last season through a groin injury, but is confident of putting those problems behind him having attributed them to growing pains.
