Chelsea captain Reece James organised a night out just hours after Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Everton.

The Telegraph says James had the squad attend a Christmas Party the night of the loss at Mayfair's Bagatelle restaurant.

James had organised the night out prior to the match, but it was thrown into jeopardy after he suffered a hamstring injury.

But after talks with manager Mauricio Pochettino the party went ahead.

Along with the dinner, the players then moved onto Tape nightclub to party just hours after the Goodison Park loss.
