Jamaica international Adrian Reid has begun a week-long trial with DC United.

The 26-year old defender, who made three appearances for Jamaica at the Gold Cup, currently plays for Portmore United and has recently had loan spells with Norwegian clubs Lillestrom and Valerenga.

Reid has kicked off his trial and is likely to play in Sunday's reserve match against Philadelphia Union.
