Jacob Wright is delighted with his chance at Manchester City senior training.

The midfielder appreciates what he is learning from his senior teammates.

"It's massive being with them every day, they're the best team in the world as it stands right now," he told the Manchester Evening News. "It's crazy to think I'm training with them day in, day out, the level of the players is unbelievable. I'm fully enjoying it.

"The speed of their training, the time you have to read the play to intercept it. How fast to play so they aren't intercepting your passes. You can see that when I do play under-21s or under-18s, I'm a bit sharper because of what I've learned every day.

"I try and watch them as much as possible in training and in games, to pick up on little things they're doing. Little minor details to try and bring into my game. They are the best players - [Kevin] De Bruyne, Rodri, even [Mateo] Kovacic. How good they are is just a joke."
