It's Robbie's MLS! Keane wins MVP double after LA Galaxy title glory

LA Galaxy striker Robbie Keane won the 2014 Volkswagen MLS Cup MVP, after scoring the game-winning goal.

Former Tottenham. Liverpool and West Ham United striker Keane struck the winner against New England Revolution in extra-time of today's MLS Cup final.

Keane, who also won the 2014 Volkswagen MLS regular season MVP award and was named to the MLS Best XI this season for the third straight year, won his third MLS Cup in four seasons. The MLS Cup MVP award was the first of his career in MLS.

He becomes the fifth Galaxy player win the MLS Cup MVP award, joining current teammates Omar Gonzalez (2012) and Landon Donovan (2011) and former players Guillermo Ramirez (2005) and Carlos Ruiz (2002).
