Italy U21 coach Devis Mangia has hailed his players after their Euros semifinal victory over Holland.
The Azzurrini won the semi-final 1-0 with a Fabio Borini goal after suffering under pressure during the first half.
"It was a great Italy, because we suffered against a more experienced side, but we never gave up," the Coach told Rai Sport.
"In the second half we were better set out on the field and much more balanced. Everyone did brilliantly, running hard and the defence played a fantastic game."
Mangia was asked whether this performance was a step backwards from recent outings, as it focused more on defence and sitting back.
"I couldn't care less," he replied. "This team has great quality."
