Italy U21 coach Casiraghi names new caps in squad

Italy U21 coach Pierluigu Casiraghi has named three new caps in his squad.

Casiraghi has named his squad for the European Under-21 qualifiers against Bosnia-Herzegovina and Wales.

Italy play Bosnia-Herzegovina in Sarajevo on September 3 and welcome Wales to the Stadio Adriatico in Pescara on September 7.

Andrea Poli, Mario Balotelli and Davide Santon are injured, while there are four newcomers to the squad.

Goalkeeper Simone Colombi, defenders Cristiano Biraghi and Felice Natalino plus midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura are the new additions.

Goalkeepers: Colombi (Alessandria), Mannone (Arsenal), Perin (Genoa).

Defenders: Angella (Empoli), Ariaudo (Cagliari), Biraghi (Inter), D'Ambrosio (Torino), Mazzotta (Pescara), Natalino (Inter), Ogbonna (Torino), Ranocchia (Bari).

Midfielders: Bolzoni (Siena), Bonaventura (Atalanta), Fabbrini (Empoli), Marrone (Siena), Mazzarani (Modena), Mustacchio (Varese), Pasquato (Modena), Schelotto (Cesena), Soriano (Empoli).

Forwards: Borini (Chelsea), Marilungo (Sampdoria), Okaka (Roma), Paloschi (Parma)
