Italy coach Cesare Prandelli admits Parma attacker Antonio Cassano is unlikely to make his World Cup squad.
There are calls for Cassano to be given a new chance after recent form.
"Cassano? He had a great Euro 2012, but then a new and different Nazionale was born, aiming towards the World Cup," said Prandelli.
"I will also evaluate Cassano, that is clear, but I must give the utmost faith in a squad that took us to the World Cup with two rounds to spare."
